Alongside exclusive collaborations with talented designers, TheCocoonalist displays ephemeral collections in limited edition. These collections express multiple aesthetic sensitivities in line with the brand’s philosophy and audaciously illustrate a singular vision of elegance.
Founder of the brand for children Tartine et Chocolat, Catherine Painvin has been designing clothes lines that celebrate made in France arts & crafts. Her work has been honored by several prizes such as « Gold Woman » or « Officer of the Legion of Honour”. In 2016, she meets Corinne Billard. Seduced by the luxurious concept developed by TheCocoonalist, she imagines a collection of eleven kilts handmade with leathers and plaids from Scotland and Ireland, reflecting the wild softness of these lands. Each creation is unique and for both men and women who illustrate this audacious elegance that makes no compromise.
| Aurélia et Léïla
Aurélia et Léïla are two passionate designers with intense worlds. For TheCocoonalist, they create Dreams in the Crowd, a homewear & lingerie collection where graphical and sensual silhouettes, adorned with watercolor and floral patterns, embrace the bodies. Aurélia and Léïla both studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels: Aurelia as a textile designer, Léïla as a sculptor. Their skills complement one another across a common sensitivity. Together, they develop unique creations that explore the ideas of body, beauty and identity within a moving society that constantly challenges the notion of elegance.
